West Yorkshire Spinners have released another natural fleece yarn, this time from Jacobs sheep.

This is a more woolly yarn, beautifully rustic and plied. I have three shades in stock: Ecru (natural cream), Light Grey (natural grey-brown) and Medium Grey (mid grey-brown). They are subtle natural shades, ideal for muted home furnishings and outerwear.

Jacobs sheep are the ones with the extra horns - superb curling horns! - and they have multi-coloured coats, hence the amazing shades in the yarn. Not as soft as the BFL but perfectly wearable medium yarn.

A good price for a top quality aran weight too!

Made from 100% Jacobs yarn, with 166m per 100g skein.

Tension is 18 sts and 24 rows to 10 cm using 5mm needles.

Handwash, do not tumble dry
