As you know, I love a good sock yarn and this one is a new find that I have fallen in love with completely.

Knitpro have brought out a handpainted sock yarn with a softness that has you checking whether you’re actually working with a standard sock yarn at all - the 75:25 superwash merino:nylon mix feels like a silk blend. Its soft, smooth, and holds the colour beautifully.

There are 380m (415 yards) per 100g skein, so slightly less than a standard, but you wont mind a bit. Handwash is recommended although the yarn is superwash so it will survive a decent machine.

Needle size from 2.25mm, so perfect for socks, although I’m making a shawl with it right now and the stitch definition is grand. And i keep stopping to cuddle it…
